Nick Hotel Review
We stayed in a 2 bdrm kidsuite, Building 6 room #625

We were able to qualify for the boy scout promotion. We paid only $119.00 per night, all resort fees ($25.00 per day) were waived. We received 2 free arcade cards (with 200 pts. each), 20% off all spa services, and a free small gift (a “You’ve got slimed” magnet)
We were very impressed on how they were continuously doing maintenance despite these economic times. They were painting and doing a lot of upkeep and maintenance the week we were there. Painting walk ways, steam cleaning rooms, up keeping pool areas.
Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay at Nick hotel again. The room was clean and the amenities were great!! We got a great rate and had a great vacation!!!

Kids Bedroom
We had a Rugrats kids room with bunk beds
The kids Small kids table with two chairs
Light on wall by each bed
Built in speakers in wall for top and bottom bunk
The playstation also plays dvd’s

Mstr. Room
1 king bed
Tv & safe, desk, closet
Desk has an extension surge protector under desk with multiple outlets
Two lamps & night stands
Alarm clock
3 drawers under tv
Storage space under beds, was able to fit our medium suitcase underneath

Living Room
1 sleeper sofa
Extra pillows in closet
Small kitchen table with chairs
Small fridge, microwave, coffee pot, sink. No dishes or utensils
The room came stocked with paper towels, coffee samples, and cups.
No bureau or drawers in living room
Does have adjoining door for next room
Free internet
Cord only in living room, but very long was able to use in mstr. Bdrm.
Some issues with tv’s they were very tempermental. We called one night to complain and they brought 3 tech support guys the next day and completely re-programed all 3 tv’s


Bathroom
Full size bathtub, with clothes line
Cupboard under sink
3 built in shelves for storage
Plenty of towels 6 wash, 6 bath and 6 hand towels
Lighted magnifying mirror
Hair dryer

Pools
Plenty of towels by pool
Pool temperatures super warm!!
Oasis slide temperature a little chilly
Lagoon slide temperatures were about the same as pool temp.
Cabananas are available for daily rent. Cabanana’s come with flat screen TV, padded chaise lounges, and refrigerator. Can be rented by full day ($125.00 or half day $70.00) Cost varies from weekday to weekend.
Kids had an awesome time with the slides, daily sliming, basketball court, pool table and small mini golf course.


Food Court
Pizza hut good, quick. Does not take pizza hut chain coupons
Subway- good. No $5.00 footlongs, does not participate in subway reward card/point program. Does not take chain coupons either
We did not eat in the resteraunt or the buffet.

Arcade
Arcade nice selection of games, (skee ball, baskeball, guitar hero, dance, dance, pinball, driving games, and many others) but very crowded especially sat. night
Arcade uses electronic refillable cards, not tokens or tickets

Nick After Dark Program
Nick after Dark only Tues, Thurs Fri & Sat 5-10pm
$50.00 1st child, $40.00 for each additional child
Our 3 kids went and had a great time!

4-D shows.
I personally did not go. But the kids did with the Nick After Dark and really enjoyed it.

Laundry facilities
$1.00 per wash load
$1.00 per dry load
Plenty of machines available

Free ice machine on each floor of each building, as well as vending machines
Two computers with available printer in the lobby building

Thanks for the post. I assumed they would have dishes, so it's good to know we'd better pick up some disposables at our grocery stop on the way to the hotel. We're headed there in four weeks.

my kids love this hotel. AMAZING pools. We always stay at a WDW hotel but keep at least 2 days at the beginning of our trip for the Nick. We usually fly into Orlando around 1-2PM so we spend the rest of the time at pool that day. They provide pool side games. One of the activities they had was a pool side swim in movie. The kids thought that was great! Something we don't find in South Dakota.
