Nick Hotel or Marriott Harbour Lake

Hi Everyone,
I need one night before our stay at AKV and I can't make a decision.
It seems like Nick hotel has some very bad reviews, but it looks so cool.
Harbour Lake has good reviews and looks ok.

Please tell me it's ok to stay at Nick hotel.

No experience with Nick, but we love Harbour Lake. I just booked it again for a week over Labor Day, my 4 year old loves the pools! It is a pretty small property for Marriott, so all buildings are not too far from the pools.

We stayed at Nick in June, Room was nice and clean, not anywhere close to Disney hotel, kind of like a standard decent hotel room, but clean (which was my MAIN concern) Pools/slides were awesome, my GS4 love them, but I would say if your children are younger than 4/5 it can get a little crazy for them, lots of kids, very crowded. If your kids are a little bit older I would def. recommend staying there, they will love it. I was a little concerned with the "bad" reviews also of Nick, but knew someone who personally stayed there and I trusted her opinion. I would recommend, clean, decent room, nothing spectaular, but pools/slides were the main draw. Feel free to ask any questions or pm me for any other info.

For a 1 night stay the Nick wins by a long shot. I've stayed at both and while we liked Harbour lake for a week, we'd pick the Nick for a short stay every time.

Not all adults like it , but I've yet to talk with an kid that didn't think the Nick rocked.

I will choose the Nick hotel, I have 2 boys ages 7 and 3. I know they will love this, plus it's much cheaper, only $78 a night.

Nick is Ok for a day or two.No more
pool is lots of fun

Harbor lake is a much better overall resort.

THey have good pools and lots of activities for Kids

Room are much better
The nick hotel is a renovated motel.
