Nick Hotel for one night...is this feasible?

Our next trip isn't for a couple of years, and I'm already considering options.

For our first night in Orlando, we'd stay at the Nick Hotel. We'd arrive about noon (realizing that we can't check in until probably about 3 or 4), and spend time at the pool. We'll partake in the nightly activities, and go to the character breakfast the following morning. We'd check out when we have to, but again we'd spend time at the pool. We wouldn't check in at our timeshare until late afternoon.

I know at Disney, you have full reign of the facilities from the morning you check in until the night you check out. Is that the same way at the Nick Hotel?

Oh, and before you say it's just for kids, we all love Spongebob in our family.

yep you get wristbands to use the facilities so your good to use them both days, my kids loved the character brekkie and the omlette station is good too

you may get lucky our room was ready at 10 and we got late checkout for free!

Thank You for asking this question! We were thinking along the same lines, but with driving down from Mass. Figured us parents could have a little time to relax with the boys doing lots of activities after the drive! So glad you asked OP!

We are going in August and have booked into nick hotel for 2 nights before we go to DW our kids can't wait:cheer2:
We are going to the space centre on one of those days.

yes you can use the pool all day. we got late checkout last time anyways we just asked!

When I looked into doing that for this July, I couldn't book for only one night--it had to be two. You might want to check into this before you finalize your plans. I don't know if this is typical--I was looking at 7/1-2.

You could try putting in equivalent dates for this year, see if the one night thing works for you. Beyond that, it sounds like you have a good plan.

Yup, looks like I could only stay one night. (I'm looking at the first Saturday of November, 2013). I'm thinking your problem might be that you're going over July 4th weekend.

Thanks for all the responses:wizard:

Yeah, I thought that, too. That's why I thought you might have better luck with your non-holiday dates. We're doing Caribe Royale instead--I think we'll manage.

Good luck with your Nick Hotel stay--it does look fun!
