Nick Hotel activities for non guests?

Hi...

We are staying at Calypso Cay resort soon, and my kids are itching to take a look at the Nick Hotel - is it possible to just drive up and have a look around?

Are there any free activities for non guests? Like slime-time, etc?

A little FYI... non-guests cannot even get onto property with out a hotel escort. I went there yesterday to check out the hotel. The attendent at the front gate explained that if you are not staying onsite, you cannot enter (not sure how they work a guest visitor). I explained to him that I was thinking about staying there & just wanted to see what the grounds were like. He called into someone, then told me that I would be greeted by a tour guide. He would give me a tour of the resort. We went in, met our guide & he was very nice. He even took us into a one bedroom to show us what they look like... he showed us one with the bunkbeds. The other one bedroom (with the twin beds), was not opening with his key card. He was going to show us that too. We fell in love with the place & am thinking of staying when not going to parks to make my stay my "trip" & enjoy everything they have to offer..... the pools alone would keep my dd's entertained all day
