DS 6 had his surgery yesterday morning and all went well. He did however have a very bad reaction to the anesthesa as they had to dope him up more than usual because of his Grave's disease and fast heartbeat. Never knew that until last night when Dr. finally came back in. He was so combative, ripping masks off, pulling IV out, then almost comatose. Just very irratic behavior. Anyway, hes home this morning and resting well, and I'm so glad to have the whole thing behind us. Thank you all for your responses to my questions about the T and A and for your well wishes.

Glad to hear he is doing better this morning! Prayers and pixie dust for a speedy recovery!:sunny:

Blessings to Nicholas and best wishes for a speedy recovery:D Hope he is back to his old self and :bounce: around in no time.

Glad to hear he came through the surgery okay and that he's back home. I'm sure it was frightening to see him changing between combative and comatose. At least he's on the road to recovery now. Hang in there, I'm sure these next few days will be challenging. Pixie Dust and Get Well Wishes to Nicholas! :)

My daughter had several eye surgeries when she was small. The anesthesiologist warned me about the anesthesia - said she would come out of it VERY CRANKY! Boy was he right! I was so glad he warned me ahead of time!

I hope your DS has a smooth and speedy recovery!

Sure happy he is home safe and sound.;) Keep us updated.
