my FI and I are looking for a nice place to eat while we are in WDW. We ate @ Tony's last time we were there, and were not impressed. Any other ideas for a special nite there would be great also! TIA

I was impressed with the Crystal Palace. It's a buffet with Winnie the pooh and friends. Not sure if you're looking for, but it does have good food.

I can certainly understand why they would not be impressed with tony's..the food is mediocre at best.

For a great meal at disney, try Artist Point, Jiko, Flying Fish.

If you want something a bit cheaper, try Boma.

In the parks..try Le Bistro, Chefs de France, Alfredo's.

If you are looking for a great lunch try Liberty Tree Tavern.

For a great breakfast, try Fresh, Boma, Spoodles or Kona Cafe.

For a special meal try the California Grille at the CR. Time your PS w/ the MK fireworks. They dim the lights and pipe in the music. It's the best plase to view the fireworks.

Jiko at AKL, California Grille at CR, or Portabello Yacht Club at DTD would all be great choices.

Do you mean Magic Kingdom when you say WDW? The reason I ask is because that will change my answer. If you DO mean Magic Kingdom, I would suggest the Liberty Tree Tavern for lunch (not a character meal), or dinner.

If you mean WDW as the entire Walt Disney World complex, including all resorts, parks, water parks, etc, then I would recommend the Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club. Another favorite is Narcoosee's at the Grand Floridian. I have 2 favorites in Epcot for dinner... Le Cellier and Alfredos. At Disney MGM Studios, either Mama Melrose or Brown Derby.

If you are in Downtown Disney, I recommend either Fulton's Crab House or House of Blues.
