Hi,
Its my hubbys bday while we are in wdw and he has said he would like to go to Epcot as we have never been there. It was the only park we didnt manage to get to when we went last time !!
Where would you guys reccomend for a nice meal ? we have 2 adults and 4 kids aged between 2 and 10 :)
Thanks guys :thumbsup2

We really like Le Cellier and Teppan Edo. I think that with 4 kids, Teppan Edo is a more fun choice as the food is prepared in front of you, which is entertaining.
The Biergarten in Germany is also great fun, it's a buffet and there's entertainment.

Although I've not been yet, the restaurant I'm most looking forward to is Coral Reef. One wall is a tank and you watch sealife swim right next to you while you're eating. Looks absolutely gorgeous, food looks gorgeous and the price is right.

There are so many places to eat in Epcot though. This is the one I've chosen.

Another vote for Tepan Edo a real good restaurant and we had a lot of fun ou ds6 loved it, Le Cellier & Coral reef are also very enjoyable

Another vote for Le Cellier. My mouth is watering thinking about the steak.

Biergarten is pretty basic food, lots of sausage etc. Good if your children are picky and the (very) large beers are my DHs idea of heaven.

WE also like Akershus for family dining but not really a man's idea of a good night out. Although some of the princesses are very attractive.

Not somewhere we have considered but the "very attractive princesses" comment is selling it to me.:rotfl2:

if you dont like any of those
you can mcdonalds or harry ramsden
in epcot,
oh dont eat in the rose and crown pub in epcot
the beef you can use as new shoe leather
lumpy mash
thin gravy
flat yorkshire puds

We love    Teppan Edo. The kids love the food and adore the entertainment and the way it's all cooked in front of them and DH and I just love the good food. BTW we've been going since our youngest was 4 so don't worry about the ages of your kids.

Have been to Le Cellier and loved it, quite grown up for children tho, even tho ours were fine, but am very intrigued by Teppan Edo that a few of u have mentioned...where in Epcot is it, and what sort of food do they serve?
Might put that one on my list.

Kx

Le Cellier is very good - we ate there in april and all loved the Steaks and the atmosphere.
I do like the look of many other restaurants in Epcot, particularly the Japapnese and Moroccan ones but haven't tried them yet.
I think the Rose and Crown is very poor pub food and best left for people who can't sample real British food.
I also really like sunshine Seasons for a quick meal although not what OP w2as asking about.

Ooh, I've just had a look at Teppan Edo and I'm torn now! It looks fantastic!

I may have to add on another ADR, I can't choose between the two lol. Is one for breakfast, one for dinner too much??? lol!

We loved le cellier too. I hated Chefs de France - service terrible and food blumin awful!

The japanese place sounds good - will def add that to my ADR list next time - when every that will be!!!!!!!

I work there now and I think the food is amazing. The menu changed about 3 weeks ago, everything tastes great and we don't do yorkshire puddings. It's a huge hit with Americans, I've been here for 6 months now and all my guests have told me the food has been brilliant.
