Is there a decent place to relax and get a drink at any of the DTD restaurants? Most of the places look pretty boisterous -- essentially restaurants with bars in them. Just looking for a comfortable spot where you don't have to shout over music.

No, there isn't a really quiet place at Downtown Disney. You'd have better luck at the resort lounges. One of my favorites is the Bell Vue Lounge at the Boardwalk. It's inside the resort. Quiet and cozy.

What about the little bar by the water (not sure of the name) near the pin store? They have some tables and chairs and you are not really disturbed by the people walking by.

Especially now since there are not so many people walking by. That may be your best bet - I can't think of any lounges at DTD that do not include loud or live music.

You might also try the bars at Portobello or Fulton's, don't think they do the music thing. I do not think these count as separate lounges, they'll be inside the restaurant and I don't know if they are just a bar or if they have tables and chairs available. Love the bar at Rainforest Cafe, personally, but I don't think it'll be quiet.

I love the bar at RFC too; that is my first stop when I get down there each year.

There is a new place called Paradiso 37 which is really nice.

My favorite lounge for peace and quiet and some good munchies is the WL.
