nice ending to a year of a million dreams

my friends and i were at disneyland on jan 31st for the last day of yomd and to celebrate the new year. the park was really crowded so we decided at 1 pm to take the mark twain steamboat around the river of americas. after the ship had shoved off there was an announcement over the intercom that everyone on board had won yomd ears! at that point 8 dream squad members appeared and gave them out to everyone. people were cheering and screaming. a couple next to me had gotten engaged the previous day and they called the award their engagement ears. it must have been a sight to see from shore with everyone wearing yomd ears. as we docked the dream squad waved at us as they left the boat and we all waved back. i'll always remember this nice ending to the year of a million dreams!

i wish i had brought a camera that day. it would have made for a memorable keepsake photo. i didnt realize the dream squad gave out a huge quantity of 150 yomd ears at one time. maybe it was a end of yomd final award?

Nope, we got Dream fast passes a year ago at AK. We were on Everestt and as we got off the Dream team was there and gave everyone getting off the ride the passes. They stayed for the train behind us too

It surely seem to be a great sight. There are people all across the globe having similar YOMD related story to share. I would have liked to be part of it.. But I am late.

I missed the YOAMD but I got my wish this past week when my DH picked up our vouchers for our seasonal passes! I'm so excited I could explode!

When I was at the Year of A Million Dreams in Disney I won the ears too! And we won the fastpasses! It was awesome!
