Niagara on the Lake

Doing a weekend at the end of April in Niagara on the Lake. Anyone have any nice restaurants they have enjoyed? Thanks!!

The restaraunt at the Charles Inn was excellent. Moderately high end, but enjoyable.

Zees (at the Shaw Hotel) is worth skipping - but the hotel itself is excellent.

No other opinions on places to eat, but we loved NOTL. If you are up for it, rent a bike and ride down along the Niagara River and visit some of the wineries (Reif, Iniskillen and Peller are all there). Wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

If you are into wine, make sure to ask for some Wine tasting vouchers at your hotel...Peller gives them out to most.

Actually, we are doing a Private Wine tour and tasting...our DD bought us a package for my Birthday. That is part of it..and 2 nites accomodation and some Spa services.

The Henry VIII dinner is good for a laugh. Angel Inn is great for a more casual pub type place.

The Epicurean has great food; it's cafeteria style to pick up your food, with more seating in the back to eat...it's deceptive from the front as there are only 4-5 tables in the entryway.

There are lots of great places to eat a little ways away...even a cooking school and restaurant at Strewn Winery.

We're local, so let me know if you have any other questions. We are looking forward to a Shaw day mid-April...just booked tickets for "Brief Encounters"...very much looking forward to it!

I second that! Its our favourite place to eat when we go to NOTL.

We LOVE Peller Estates dining room for dinner. I understand Stone Road Grille is also not to be missed.

The Angel Inn is a fun pub with fantastic desserts!! They actually say there is a ghost that roams the Inn... have a fun time!
