I'm headed to Niagara Falls on Wednesday with a few friends. What are your most-do's in terms of things to do, places to see and where to eat? We are going to be there for three nights staying at the Sheraton.

We've gone to the Butterfly Conservatory twice. If you haven't gone before - this is definitely a must see.

Take a drive down the Niagara Parkway to Niagara-on-the-Lake. It's a beautiful drive and Niagara has some great shops on the main street + beautiful homes and views. There are also many, many wineries in that area and you might want to do a few tours/tastings. I also love the Butterfly Conservatory. The Queenston Heights Restaurant (halfway between The Falls and NOTL along the Parkway, by the statue of Sir Isaac Brock) is quite nice with a beautiful view. It's fine dining.

We also loved the Butterfly Conservatory and the drive to Niagara on the Lake. We like to eat at Tony Romas (there is no Tony Roma's where we live), it's in the Raddison and we find it reasonable priced, considering the prices anywhere else in Niagara Falls. We tried Wolfgang Pucks last year and enjoyed it, it's across from the new Casino, but it was pricy.

We always make sure to go to the Outlet's on Lundy's Lane, they have a great Coach outlet there. We love walking up and down Clifton Hill, going to the Hershey Store and to both casinos.

Rainforest on Clifton Hill

BTW Clifton Hill = Tourist Trap - but so is WDW.

Thanks for all the tips!

So far we are definitely going to spend a day across the border shopping. A day of sight-seeing in Niagara Falls, probably going to buy the Adventure Pass. Hopefully I can talk my friends into the butterfly conservatory, that sounds really nice!

We will definitely be eating at the Rainforest Cafe!

If the weather cooperates perhaps we will take a drive over to Niagara-on-the-Lake as well. :goodvibes

Hopefully the weather cooperates! The past few days the forecast has been switching back and forth from sunny to rain.

My kids like seeing the falls at night.

If you're crossing over, try the cheesecake factory in the walden galleria for dinner.

WE LIVE IN NOTL I WILL WAVE TO YOU AS YOU DRIVE THRU OUR TOWN:rotfl2:IF YOUR COMING TO NOTL AND LIKE WINE WE HAVE MANY WINERIES. SOMEONE SUGGESTED THE QUEENSTON HEIGHTS RESTAURANT ID HAVE TO DRIVE BY IT TO SEE IF IT IS OPEN YET MIGHT HAVE SHORT OFF SEASON HOURS STILL. THE SEASON DOESNT START UNTIL MAY TWO FOUR WEEKEND. IM ASSUMING IF YOUR SHOPPING OVER THE DITCH YOU WILL BE GOING TO THE OUTLET MALL. DOLLAR IS GOOD NOW. WE GO EVERY WEEK FOR GOCERIES. CERTAIN ITEMS ARE CHEAPER. BUT REMEMBER NOT EVERYTHING IS CHEAPER. WEGMANS IS NICE GROCERY STORE. IF YOUR GOING FARTHER TO THE BOULEVARD MALL AREA WHICH HAS BOX STORES BEFORE YOU GET THERE. IF YOU PLAN ON GOING THERE GO STRAIGHT OUT PAST THE NF AIRPORT AND KEEP GOING. CHEAPER THAN PAYING TOLL OVER GRAND ISLAND AND NOT MUCH LONGER. IF YOU LIKE CHICKEN WINGS STOP IN AT HONEYS. BEEN THERE FOR YEARS.

Make sure you see the show Niagara's Furry at the Table Rock. It tells the story of the creation of Niagara Falls along with special effects.
