Does anyone have recommendations for a nice budget hotel new Niagara Falls (either Canadian or US side)

Try the Embassy Suites. They are 2 room suites, usually at a reasonable price and includes hot buffet breakfast.

the cheapeast I'm seeing for there is $236 a night :scared1: and you have to stay a minimum of 2 nights.

Set yourself up with travelzoo and get deals on there. You can get the hilton or any other niagara falls hotel at a really good rate....and they usually through in a dinner voucher and sometimes a voucher for money for the casino........whatever the deal may be, it's always worth it!!! AND the views are always great:):) OR just look at niagara falls tourism and look for deals that way.

Have fun!!!

On the US side there are only 3 good places to stay. The Hampton on Rainbow Blvd, the Crowne Plaza and the new Holiday Inn, formerly the Sheraton. Be aware there are a ton of hotels all around the falls but most are dirty and rowdy. The hotel at the Seneca casino is also really nice but tends to be pricey.

On the Canadian side there is a great Comfort Inn on Fallsview Blvd. The better places are all on Fallsview. You can get many of the Fallsview places through Priceline.

I second Travelzoo.....they often have deals on the Canadian side properties.

We are in NF right now. Staying at the Country Inn & Suites on Victoria Avenue (Cdn side). We have a one-bedroom suite (sleeps up to six) with a fridge, microwave, two tv's in the room, and hot and cold breakfast buffet included and we only paid $110 per night. Hotel is CLEAN, only about 4 years old, there's a large pool and hot tub, and exercise room, free newspapers in the lobby, and parking is only $6 a day (the cheapest around). We can walk to the falls, we're right around the corner from Clifton Hill, and directly across the street from the Falls Avenue complex that encompasses the Fallsview Waterpark. Staff here are awesome, and we would highly recommend it!

I highly recommend Embassy Suites as well. We recently returned from a two day trip and got a rate of 119 a day for a two room suite with mangers reception, $40 dinner voucher and breakfast for everyone. We had a two bedroom suite but not a fallsview. Parking was expensive through the hotel but DH took the car across the street to the casino for $5 a day. Try calling directly and ask what specials they have.

There are a couple good deals in the Travel Zoo newsletter that came the other day - you should be able to get them off their site as well - the Ramada and Baymont Inn and Suites (if staying 2 or more nights) - both under $100/night - pretty good reviews on TripAdvisor. I'm trying to decide which one to go with before the deals run out!!!

I stayed at the Holiday Inn By The Falls for C$110/nite a couple weeks ago on an advance purchase/non-refundable rate. Taxes extra but free parking. Only two blocks from the falls. Adjacent the Fallsview Casino complex. Large, very nice rooms with balcony. It was a Friday night so had awesome view of the fireworks too.

Just to mention, unless you have a specific reason to stay on the American Side of the Falls (other than cost), don't.

We stayed here once and loved it too, so close to everything. The only downside is, since its located on a corner, there is a traffic light there. Our room faced that and we heard vehicles braking all hours of the night! :headache: Request a room facing the parking lot instead.

If you really want CHEAP but clean, we usually stay at the Travelodge Bonaventure down Lundy's Lane. Its probably about 5 miles from the falls, but its quiet and less traffic to contend with. It has an indoor pool/hottub and outdoor pool and also has a small restaurant open for breakfast that's good and reasonable. http://www.niagaratravelodge.com/
