Actually in the case of the Sheraton on the Falls, no view really does mean no view. We stayed there this past June and had a traditional no view room. These rooms are similar to inside cabins on cruise ships, as they are on the interior of the hotel. While there were shutters where the window would be, the only thing on the other side of the "window" was a light to help keep the room lit. If you dig through the pictures on tripadvisor, there are a couple of pictures of the traditional rooms. I did know in advance what to expect, so I wasn't too surprised. We got a great rate of $83/night American by checking Expedia every day.
I would stay at the Sheraton again in a heartbeat. We loved the hotel and loved the location. You are close to plenty of entertainment in the evenings and lots of restaurants. The only thing that is a bit of a walk is Table Rock, but that was what the People Mover was for. If you can afford it, I would definitely spring for the fallsview. If not, the traditional rooms are very spacious.
Hope you have a great trip!
