I live in Hockey central, lol. Hockey is like a religion up here in N. Mn. Kids start training when they can stand and walk, no kidding. People spend thousands of dollars on this sport. I like hockey but love professional football. Hockey is growing on me. I usually keep track of our local university hockey team, not professional.

BSU or UMD? I grew up in Minneapolis and had family that played hockey at Greenway in Coleraine back when they were good every year.

My wife just said to me, we should go to Vegas and see a game, so I'm off looking at flights and hotels.

That's the plan. Wife has never been to Vegas and I've only been on a work trip, so limited free time.

Three of the four greatest hockey barns in MN. It will take me a few years to call it Grand Casino instead of the X, Mariucci and Ridder are both great for college hockey barns. The only one missing is the Hippodrome in Eveleth. Home to some of hockey's biggest stars before they were known outside of the Range.

The MN Wild - Colorado Avalanche game on Black Friday was broadcast in Anishinaabe. A first, which I found interesting as I would have thought that one of the Canadian teams would have done it already.

How do you figure it's being introduced? Anishinaabe have been playing hockey pretty much since it was invented.
