NFL sunday ticket

2 years ago we signed up with direct tv and got the NFL Sunday ticket for free. Last year they offered it for a discount price and we bought. We have not received any offers but look forward to football season. Anyone know the best way to go about getting a discount price on this?

I called up DTV last week and at the prompts did Cancel/Cancel to get to retentions.

I then asked if they had any discounts for me on Sunday Ticket this season....they gave me ST Max for Free. It required a 1 year commitment, but I still had a year left on my commitment due to getting a free receiver last year...so it didn't change anything for me.

It took all of 8 mins to get it for free.

As an FYI -- Your mileage may vary....as it's often times just CSR roulette, as some people that have done this have had to call multiple times to get this offer. I've read it also depends on how long you've been there, bill payment history and the programing that you have.

Can't hurt to call and ask as mentioned. The year I didnt renew the ticket they called me with offers to renew it. You will get some discount or offer if you call and ask
