NFL Playoff Picks

I pick Philly over NO. One of our local guys is a wide receiver for Philly. It's so exciting for someone from your small town to be doing so well!

I would love to see San Diego and New Orleans in the Superbowl.

You also misspelled San Diego. It's spelled N-e-w E-n-g-l-a-n-d.

:thumbsup2 :cheer2:

It's amazing how horrible some people's spelling is ;)

My picks are:
Colts
Saints
Seahawks
and of course....

Remember, you heard it here ! Whomever wins this weekend between New England and San Diego will win the Superbowl !

Saints
...........................Saints
Seahawks
..................................................Ravens
Ravens
...........................Ravens
Patriots

Philadelphia
Seattle
New England
Indianapolis

This weekend I believe it's all going to come down to the teams with the most playoff experience. In my book, playoff experience always trumps home field advantage.

Plus, people forget, the Saint were only 5 - 5 in the alst 10 games. Hardly a powerhouse.

According to last week's Sporting News, only 5% of the Super Bowl winners had starting quarterbacks age 26 & younger. That knocks out the Chargers & Bears. :confused3

Of course, I'm pulling for my newly adopted hometown team. San Diego is a very exciting place to be right now!

My predictions for the weekend:

Ravens
Saints
Bears
Chargers

Then, I'm hoping for a Saints-Chargers Super Bowl.

Not sure what's up with the Saints other than Horn went down and the offense stuggled without him.

I do know Philly is the hottest thing going right now. They are peaking just at the right time. I wouldn't bet against them.

And speaking of stats, if you want to see some sad stats, check out how bad the Bears pass defense has been. I can't understand why people are thinking the Seahwks can't rip them up if the Lions and Bucs had no problem.

Interesting. I would guess that includes last year and Namath. Did they say?

Young quarterbacks who have won the Super Bowl:

Age 23- Roethlisberger
Age 24- Brady
Age 25- Montana, Namath

It's because 2 of their starters have been out since December 4th (Tillman and Vasher). What really started the defense drop was when Mike Brown went down.

If Grossman doesn't have a bad day, Bears win. If Grossman has 3 great games in a row (like he did to start the season) nobody beats the Bears.

Come on guys, you should know better than to pay any attention to stats. The Steelers proved that last year.

Picking the Colts and da Bears! I hope Peyton and Dungy don't choke, would really like to see the Colts win!
