We’ll be on the Disney Magic the weekend of the NFL Divisional Playoffs and I’m wondering if they’ll air the games in the bars onboard? We’ll be in Key West on Saturday and Nassau on Sunday, if that makes a difference. I know my husband would love to watch the Eagles play! Thanks!

If the games are on ESPN or a Disney-affiliated station (ABC) they have a good chance of being shown in the "sports bar". If not, then, maybe. The other bars/lounges don't have TVs in them.

Thanks. Which bar is the “sports bar” on the Disney Magic? Will it be open while we’re in port? (we don’t plan on getting off the ship in Nassau).

Guaranteed to be on in O'Gills, depending on the game and the schedule on ship, could be on funnel vision.

That’s awesome! My son is excited about watching it on funnel vision! Thanks.

From what I have read, the Superbowl has been shown there, but other games could be iffy as to whether they get shown there. But definitely O'Gills and all ages can go there up until 9p

We sailed out of NYC a year ago, and they showed a Giants game on funnel vision one day. That was wonderful, just hanging by the pool, day drinking. ;)

I was on the Fantasy last week and in our room we had ESPN, ESPN2 and another Sports Channel. On Sunday afternoon, the ESPN channel showed whatever game was on CBS and ESPN2 was actually the game on Fox. However, the sound didn't work. Not sure if it's the same on the other ships but I wasn't expecting to see the games in the stateroom outside of MNF.

It's pretty much guaranteed to have NFL Playoffs on board, out of all of the sports, the NFL seems to get priority. I've watched Monday Night Football on Funnel Vision, the MLB ALCS/NLCS (via Fox), NBA Playoffs (via TNT), and it seems to be hit or miss if the games will show up in your room on the ESPN channel.

A few years ago before the Wonder refurb, they had TVs in the gift shops and the CMs changed the channel to sports and we hung out there to watch as well.

Definitely O'Gills and possibly on Funnel Vision...it is a pretty big game. :) We watched the Super Bowl on FV on the Fantasy in February. It was lots of fun. Formal night was a bit of a bust due to all the football fans camped out though. lol

While on the 11/11 Magic cruise out of NYC, my son ordered up room service and watched both Sunday night and Monday night games on tv in our stateroom. He may have watched a Thursday night game too. He was in heaven - room service and football! I don't think they were showing the full game (only airing it until a certain time) in the bar, but I could be wrong, and of course these weren't divisional games. Go Pats!

I was onboard the Dream for the Super Bowl, in addition to FV and O'Gills they also played it in Vibe and the Oceaneers Club or Lab (don't remember which one)
