We will be in Florida from Dec. 19-30 and would like to see either an NFL game or a College Football game. Something we will probably never do again. In pricing the NFL tickets they are very expensive for the four of us:scared1:. Not sure what the College games go for yet. We never get to sit in the 100-200 levels and thought if we are going to do this then that is the only way to go but then reality sets in the tells us we cannot afford what we would like. :confused3

Any thoughts or advice plus anywhere that you might have gotten deals before would be appreciated.

Sorry, but I don't think there is such a thing as a cheap ticket to an NFL game.

I just got back from the Dolphins vs Vikings game in Minny and we paid double the cost of the ticket from an online reseller.

College ball will also be tough during your time frame because the regular season will be over and it will all Bowl games.

IF you want, I've always got tickets to games and events using Stubhub but it will cost you more then face value plus a service charge.

If you give more info I will try to help you look for deals.

Which teams are you looking at? Dolphins, Bucc's, Jaguars???

Which dates?

Tampa has tickets available on their website for the 26th against the Seahawks. They also have a ticket exchange area for people trying to sell their tickets.

If you're more interested in seeing a game and the athmosphere, one of the 'secondary' bowls may be an option...and I'm just guessing, but the tickets may not be crazy-expensive.

Two examples in particular:

Dec. 21: Beef 'O' Brady's St. Petersburg Bowl
Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, FL 8 pm

Dec. 28: Champs Sports Bowl
Citrus Bowl, Orlando, FL

Also, if Jacksonville isn't too far away, they've had a lot of trouble selling out the last couple of years, to the point where there's rumours they could move the team.

They have a home game vs. the Washington Redskins on Dec. 26 - Stubhub sems to have some decent seats (200 level sidelines around the 20 yard line, or endzone) for <$150 each.

By all means, go watch a college football game. IMHO, College Football is way more exciting than the NFL. There is a midweek bowl game in Orlando or we like the Orlando game on New years day. Whatever you choose, enjoy. Go Gators

Last November while in Florida we went and seen a NFL game...........i really wanted to go to Miami to see the Dolphins and Patriots, but ending up seeing a game in Tampa Bay. There were 6 of us so we had seats close to heaven but had a great time and went more for the atmosphere and to experience the huge stadium games..............we also rented a driver to drive us from Orlando to Tampa and back as we wanted to experience the tailgate parties, which I love in America........

Have fun at what ever game you choose..............football rocks:lovestruc
