Nexus - Update Passport Online

I did a quick search and found this post http://www.disboards.com/threads/nexus-how-does-it-work.3183655/#post-50016167. Can anyone confirm that they've done this using their Goes account? I remember going to the enrollment center last year and the CBP agent noticed that my passport was expiring a few months later. I recall him saying that I need to go to the office to update my passport. This is why I am wondering what to do. It's a renewal passport, new passport number, same name and issuing authority.

I was in the same situation and updated my passport info online via the Goes account. However, this was about 4 years ago. I am not sure if they have changed the procedures since then.

Same when I renewed 2 years ago. Online with no issues. But as we know, a lot has happened since then.

I suggest you try online first and if that doesn't work then you'll probably need to head to the office.

I just renewed my passport this year and updated it online through the GOES account no problem.

Sorry, was spreading false information. Apparently things have changed (or the letter I was given by CBSA in June is wrong).

Here is from the Necus website about changes in personal info. It seems that you can just do it online.

I updated our Nexus accounts (GOES) last fall with new passport numbers. Ours weren't expired yet but were declared stolen after our house was broken into while on a camping trip to the USA with our Nexus cards only! I didn't have any issue with the update.

Thanks, I saw this link, but wanted someone to confirm that they were able to do this. I was told last June that I needed to come in to the enrollment centre to update my passport information, so this info contradicts what was is on that link.

Good to know, thanks! Sorry to hear your passports were declared stolen. That must have been a nightmare.
