Next sale..

started today so I thought I would pop online to see if I could any bargins for DD for our holiday - and there was a queue to get on the site of 18 minutes

I popped to our local Next this morning. Not that good really. Got some leather boots for work and a pair of trousers. Got a few items for the kids. I'll have a look online too. I didn't get selected for the VIP online sale this year where you get a slot to shop on the Friday.

I went at 8am - just for kids clothes

The place had about 5 people in it - no queues

Bought Lewis some t shirts but no shorts to be had. He loved everything.

I did quite well Got there for 5am - car park pretty much full - queueing around the building - pretty packed inside - but went straight to a till without waiting

I'll be taking a few bits back though as I got 2 sizes of a couple of things and some of the tops were very unflattering - one top made me look like I was wearing a lampshade

I'll have a better look at some other things too as I just couldn't carry any more stuff I wanted a dress but didn't see many.

Just had a look online - pretty disappointed as nothing I really liked that much. Glad I didn't make a special trip (especially at 5am )

As youngest got me up early I had a quick look online beforehand but saw nothing I wanted to buy, thought it was very disappointing.

We did most of ours online on Thursday, some items arrived today, and again this morning... the wait today to log in and access the site was only 9 minutes It must have been hit hard as everyone I know has stopped going to the shop to try and get a few bargains for the last few years.
It's just too manic and some of the items are just not worth the hassle.

the stuff they have online and in the stores are diffrent stock, so just *** online is a bit pants now the store wont be the same, the online sale started wednesday with staff and courirs first then vip slots, my order went in at 6 on wednesday, ive already had some good bargins delivered, just as an example there was 79 home pages and now i think theres only a couple, most of the good stuff has already gone.

I went to the big store near Reading at 5am with DM, we look forward to the Next sale every 6 months. It was busy but nowhere near as busy as the winter sale which we prefer. Bought one lot of things then had to pay for it to take them to the car (hands were starting to hurt ) so could go back in to carry more. I managed to get a really nice big photo frame which im very pleased with! Tried everything on and will be taking over half of it back luckily.

I would usually never go to this (I'm not good with sales!) but I've seen lots of nice things for the house lately, so I was lured in that they might be 50% off!

It was pretty quiet in the store I went too - I a large picture for the top of our stairs, a big glass bowl for the kitchen, and a new suit and shirt for work

I don't normally go on the first day but gave it ago today and got a pair of trousers for £4, they were £35 so very pleased with them, also got some wedges and a clutch bag, got 2 pairs of jeans but they'll be going back. DF got 5 shirts.

My slot was for Wednesday and I managed to get on. Ordered some bits and pieces of jewellery and some clothes.
