Next New Years

So you all don't think i'm crazy 2 weeks before NYE trying to book this is for next NYE

we are hopping to get to WDW next year for 2 weeks starting NYE or maybe Dec 30

We aren't planning on hitting the parks until Jan 1 so going to one is out

what would you suggest for a wonderful NYE dinner/atmosphere to do with a 5/6 year old but still get the feeling that it's not only Disney special but NYE special too.

and

I know you can book online now - which is better to do - online or phone? are there any problems with bookings if they are done online? and how far in advance can we book? is it the same 90 days that it was in the spring?

I have always wanted to go to Disney over NYE. For a quieter time I have had friends go to Boma. I would want to hit Chef Mickey's. Epcot is the easiest park to be in for NYE because it holds the crowds better, well at least this is what my CM friends think. Have a great trip next year!

Because your intent is to not be in a park, I'd pick a restaurant away from the parks.

Dining reservations can now be booked 180 days in advance (not 90) whether by internet or phone.
