My planner suggested sending a newsletter to all of my guests about 2 weeks before with the bus transportation schedule. I was thinking of also including disney policys about unwrapping any presents that are brought into the park (we are having our reception in epcot) and everyone needing id's to get on the bus and also to drink. Does anyone have any newsletter templates that I would be able to see?

I don't have a template but I just wanted to add that no one brought gifts to our wedding, they all had them shipped to our house via our registry. The people who did bring gifts brought cards so this is something to consider. I also believe it says the info about the packages in the save the date that Disney sends out. I made a few newsletters but then stopped because no one was reading them and I had to answer every one's questions a thousand times anyways. I can't even count how many time I had to tell people the bus schedule for our dessert party.

I did newsletters but did not mail them out - I included them in the Welcome Bag I gave everyone when they checked in. I put the newsletters, maps and a few other items in a Welcome Folder and then put that along with some snacks, Disney pads and pens, a Bear Necessaties Bag and a few other things into a Disney Backpack and left them at the checkin desk for everyone to get when they checked in.

i mailed out newsletters, but didnt include gift information. We only received cards at the wedding. PM me your email and ill be glad to send you my newsletter :)

If you PM me your email address I would be more than happy to send you all my newsletters. I also have a template in Word that other brides have used :thumbsup2

I thought no one was reading mine either until we were at WDW and I heard people mentioning things that were in the newsletters. I even put tips about WDW including little tricks ;) such as trying Beverly at Epcot in the Ice Station Cool for Coca-Cola. I had 4 people who actually tried it :upsidedow

We sent out emails to our guests in advance with this information and then included the final transportation schedule and gift reminder again in our welcome folders/gifts that we had waiting upon check in. We also reminded everyone again about bag check as we were going through the MGM/DHS main entrance and security was going to check everyone.
