If you have a look around the PJ's you should find some newsletters there. I've PMed a couple of lovely people who have sent me copies of their straight away. Everyone here's so helpful!

here's what we did..

most of our guests kept asking if this was a "real" wedding.. or is they should show up in shorts and flip flops.. I got worried, so we mailed out letters and maps about three weeks before the wedding..(made with Word)

Then, in their welcome bags, we made another letter (Excel) with all important times on it. I also used mapquest and printed directions from the two resorts we were using and put them into the bags. (that way no one could be late!)

I did ours in Word. Not hard at all. Then for printing I am doing it like a notebook with 4 pages from Kinkos so maybe $30 it will cost, not too sure about that yet.

Do you send the newsletter instead of the save the date? It seems like it would be very helpful for guests.. I just wouldn't know when to send it. My guests just received their save the dates from Disney this week. Do you think I should consider doing a newsletter?

I did a whole series of newsletter. I laid them out in InDesign, but after several requests from other brides I have a template in Word. If you would like it just PM me.
