SO the new Christmas 2013 website when live on the Belgian site last night here: http://seasons.disneylandparis.com/befr/xmas.php

The big news is a new version of Dreams! called Christmas Dreams! and Disney Magic on Parade, with new characters!

I wrote a big article on it here: http://dedicatedtodlp.com/2013/08/2...including-a-new-christmas-dreams-two-parades/ for those who may be interested.

Though there is no Mickey's Winter Wonderland, there is more entertainment and the new Christmas Dreams! sounds really interesting.

I would actually book based on this news....tempting!

Looking forward to my January trip, Christmas looks like fun this year, but I'm going to miss Mickey's Winter Wonderland, but a Christmas Dreams! will make up for it.

Thanks for the article Steve.

Thanks for the info Steve !

I´m just planning my next trip and was thinking about going in January or in March.

Hmmm.....I guess I will go in January now.

:cheer2:

it is a shame that there isn't a show but the new dreams sounds good. i hope the christmas season is as enjoyable as halloween for us. we haven't been during christmas for four years now so not sure what to expect.

Already booked back in May for 6 nights - looking forward to actual Christmas Eve and Day in the park!

ooh exciting thank you ... we just booked this week for the 19th-21st December, really was hoping Dreams would still be on, this makes it even better :)

I went once about 8 years ago in November but this will be our first experience of Christmas at Disney properly .... cannot wait!

The French Disneyland Paris PR site includes this information (translated from French):

From 10 November 2013 until January 6, 2014 -

From November 10, 2013, Disneyland Paris will launch its Christmas season. Disneyland welcomes three new heroes for the next Disney animated Christmas movie, The Snow Queen. Before their appearance on the big screen, the Princess Elsa and Anna integrate the famous Parade Park. Olaf, funny snowman, will meanwhile conductor of a new night show completely new Disney Dreams ®! Christmas party. Discover from an avalanche of news for two months completely frosted Christmas.

Elsa and Anna are both sisters of the new Disney movie heroines Christmas, The Snow Queen (French screens on December 4, 2013, exclusively at the Grand Rex in from 20 November 2013). To celebrate the winter season, they will settle for the first time at Disneyland Park where visitors can discover the people. These two new Princess will be featured in Disney Magic on Parade! They march every day on their new cold tank they share with the characters from the movie Tangled.

The new night show created especially for the Christmas season will be called Disney Dreams ®! Christmas party. Olaf, funny snowman straight out of the new Disney, The Snow Queen, will be the emcee. He will lead this new blockbuster made projections, fountains, special effects and pyrotechnics. Disney Dreams ®! The heroes of Toy Story will also benefit to present their own version of the Nutcracker.

Because everyone is eager to experience the magic of Christmas, Disneyland Paris is celebrating this year the season on November 10 and for two months in a park decorated with the colors of celebration. This will be the best time to go back to childhood in posing with Mickey and his friends in their winter costumes, but also with Santa. This will install his village to Disneyland and attend a special musical parade: The Christmas Cavalcade. Assisted by Huey, Dewey and Louie, he will be surrounded by larger than life toys, hero of Toy Story movies and many other surprises. Father Christmas will also open daily walking another rendezvous: Disney Magic on Parade!

And that's not all: a new tree height of 24 meters, will also make its appearance, decorated with nearly a thousand decorations Worldwide. It will illuminate the dark, in a new musical ceremony full of lights, "The Card Magic of Christmas", led by Pinocchio and his faithful friend Jiminy Cricket. Discover November 10, 2013 to January 6, 2014.

Note the mention of a new tree.

Sounds interesting, hoping to do a day trip for the Christmas season, can't wait to see Christmas dreams

Ooh so excited to see the new tree, can't wait or our December trip. :)

New tree! Happy now! Still a little disappointed that there is no Mickey Winter Wonderland but there seems to be enough "new" things to keep us happy!

Can't wait for December now!

Just to clarify the characters Olaf, Anna and Elsa are from the new Disney film Frozen (based on The Snow Queen) which is apparently released at the end of November so will have to make sure we watch that before we go!!

Sounds like it should be fun, can't wait to experience it for new years eve.

All booked for 24th Dec-1st Jan at the Disneyland Hotel (3nts) and Sequoia Lodge (5nts). I get to spend both Christmas and New Year in the parks. Yayayay! :yay:

I have a quick question for the guys who said they're there on Christmas Day. Are you booked up for the Merry Christmas Lunch at Hotel NY?
I've just booked up and paid but I can't find any info about it on the internet.
Does anyone know the exact menu? I know there'll be turkey roast with trimmings but I have no idea about the starter(s) and dessert. I heard that last year it was salmon and shrimp and now I'm starting to regret my booking as I don't eat fish at all.
And do you think I'll be able to request the dessert from the children's menu if the adult's is alcohol based? The medication I take causes me to have an alcohol intolerance and last year's chocolate cake does sound more appealing to me. And on the same note, do you think I'll be able to request orange juice as apposed to wine?

I'm an awkward person to cater for, I know.

Thanks guys!! :santa:

The UK release date is shown as December 6th.

For France it looks like it's released in Paris on November 20th, and then generally on December 4th.
