I would be surprised if they increased capacity. It's more likely that they moved AP availability over to resort and ticket guests.

It appears that it may have been an increase in capacity because most buckets were full for Theme Park Tickets, Select Resort Hotels and AP's but now all 3 are showing availability in May and June. The calendars for all 3 groups changed drastically in the past 24 hours.

If you asked me, and to be clear no one has, I'm guessing the next thing changed is distancing requirements goes from 6 ft down to 3. That would help them condense the queues a bit. I think masks will probably be the last thing on the list.

DH and I were speculating this morning if WDW maybe holds back a percentage of reservations from the get-go rather than adding more because of increased capacity?

Of course, it could be the latter.

I was glad to finally get that 1 DHS reservation I needed!

DH and I were speculating this morning if WDW maybe holds back a percentage of reservations from the get-go rather than adding more because of increased capacity?

Of course, it could be the latter.

I was glad to finally get that 1 DHS reservation I needed!

I also wonder if cancellations aren't added immediately back into the buckets. If they are done in batches later on that might explain what we are seeing. This isn't the first month this has happened, though this one was more dramatic.
