we actually had an experience like this a few years ago. While waiting to get a picture in front of the Castle, a photographer approached us and asked if he could take our picture.. He informed us that he was Mickey Mouse'sOfficial Photographer.......WOW ok. so he took a few shots on Main Street and while doing so we noticed he was from our home town. we started talking about the fun place and he then said hey lets go over to the Purple Wall for some more pictures. it was blast for the kids and it was some nice Pixie Dust

Or those of us that read about it over a year ago before actually going on the attraction. That's how I found out about it.



"We heard some cast members didn’t like how Minnie kicked and hurt Pluto at the beginning of the scene. Pluto is visibly upset and Minnie doesn’t seem to care. This scene is done quickly, but still stuck out enough to be noticed by numerous cast members."

That's just sort of the tone of those newer Mickey shorts - actually very similar to the very early Mickey shorts too. It's not intended to mean anything - just a little over-the-top slapstick.

It's part of the pre-show (the cartoon). Since it was removed due to safety protocols, it's possible some folks wouldn't have noticed it in person.

That makes sense! I couldn't figure out what it was otherwise. I've been on it several times, but have only seen it without pre-shows.

Registration for runDisney’s 2021 Summer Virtual Series Is Available NOW!

I actually had the tab open from the other day of checking it out, and went on and refreshed it this morning to see if there was any indication when registration would open, and it was still closed. I'd say between 9:00 and 10:00. Now it's open, and already all three individual races have sold out. I was able to register for the Virtual Challenge for all 3 races, but I don't think I want to pay all that to have my kids do all 3. I was planning on letting them pick one. Oh well. That's nuts.

This will actually be my first runDisney race(s). I signed the kids up for the Star Wars Rival Run virtual, and was planning on signing myself up but I waited too long and the one I wanted sold out, then all of them did before I decided. I was using it for motivation to actually get out and try to start running back in January, then we had some bad weather, then I had to have a tooth pulled, so I lost all my momentum. Now I'm going to get back to it, and since I have something signed up, I have more of a deadline, so to speak, to actually do something.
