I would agree with this - if they don't allow park hopping - they should (and I think would) refund the park-hopper portion of the ticket. My guess is they won't refund APs though.
My biggest concern right now is how this whole "pre-reservation" to the parks will work. I never had to worry about being able to go to a park before. We are going in October and so we have a way to go to find out what's happening, but can I ensure I can get into a park that we have a dining reservation in? Can i know when before I'm traveling do I have the parks I want. I am not sweating this because my trip is months away but will be interested to find this out.
Do you have a link to that thread please? We do have a thread for discussion on the Disney reopening and everything that goes with that. I suggest we keep that there. As we get back to some semblance of normalcy news will pick up here as well so I would hate for that to get lost as I am already seeing such.

NEWS
Annual Passholders, DVC, Club 33, Cast Members, and other affinity groups will be first able to attend soft openings at WDW

I have to say that if you read the article it doesn't say what the title says. It says that they stated that they will have soft opening with "cast members and certain affinity groups". It doesn't specify which affinity groups they will use. So it could be AP holders and DVC members, but it isn't necessarily both or either.
I can see it now, buy 100 points at Riviera and you get yourself spots at soft openings at each park.I have to say that if you read the article it doesn't say what the title says. yeah I think the guy kind of said that yesterday.https://www.wtsp.com/article/news/l...-plan/67-79e6a117-6fa0-47e7-be9d-28272f056324
No date given, but likely similar timeline to Sea World.
So instead of all of our ways of indirectly referencing said site that must not be named, can we all just agree to say "Voldemort" from now on, then we all will know it's that "which must not be named?"It's weird that they (BlogMickey) says the names of the group several times in the article but then the quote just says "affinity groups" .... just checked around and I see "that site we can't source" is reporting similar and actually when listing out the groups has the phrase "will include" bolded

My roommate just got very tickled with me over the fact I needed to set up my Apple Pay right now. “We’re not going tomorrow! You have time!” To which I hollered, “I just wanna be ready!!!”Gift card and Apple Pay added to MDE for mobile order payment.

Most places that offer mobile ordering don't offer an AP discount...I'd have to double check to see if any do.can we get the AP discount with mobile order? (it's been a while since I've been. Last time you couldn't)
You can at Disneyland. At WDW they don't have AP discounts at counter service restaurants. The only time they did was during that special 20% discount promotion for the 45th anniversary.can we get the AP discount with mobile order? (it's been a while since I've been. Last time you couldn't)
thanks. Last time we were there there were a couple so we just skipped the discount in order to get food faster. Most places that offer mobile ordering don't offer an AP discount...I'd have to double check to see if any do.
