Actually - I would argue they should keep it and update it. It's little things like this that make me the most disappointed in what Disney does - I realize they DO plus some attractions, but ones that really need it seem to languish. They could spend maybe $100,000 on that show and completely revitalize it as opposed to it feeling old and dated. Keep the puppet part at the front - that still works - but just replace the projections with something more modern, improve the Ariel effect, and then fix the way the last 45 minutes of the movie takes place in 15 seconds.
