An obvious flaw in that analysis is the implication that Imagineers actually control what goes into the parks, which they clearly don't.

This. I think blaming Imagineers is incredibly misguided.

You know if they did it as Dia de los Muertos rather than Coco in particular, I think that could be cool. Temporary, mind you.

EDIT - I didn't read boat ride part. I think doing up the pavilion for Dia de los Muertos on a temporary basis could be neat.

Ugh! I cannot wait for this to open. I have been steadfast with my opinion on other sites about this expansion that it will catch some lackluster fans off guard with how beautiful it will be, how interactive the land will be and the contrast in experiences from visiting during daylight and at night. And the rides look to be pretty fantastic too.
