Not calling anyone out specifically but I've seen numerous posters (not just this thread) make it a point to say Disney doesn't announce opening dates unless they are absolutely certain.

Usually that is the case though. This show saw technical difficulties after the announcement of the opening date. Not calling anyone out specifically but I've seen numerous posters (not just this thread) make it a point to say Disney doesn't announce opening dates unless they are absolutely certain.

Will the ROL delay also push back the other aspects of the night time expansion?
is there a thread dedicated to this? Wondering what happens to my early BOG resv and what happens after we eat...will we be allowed to get in lines, or will we be held until rope drop?FWIW, Early Morning Magic dates were released today....

Between this and the Rivers of Light postponement, it just hasn't been a great day!You will be held prisoner in Beasts Castle until the 1% have finished riding a better themed version of Barnstormer.
In all seriousness, I feel for folks who made plans months ago only to have them potentially crushed by this event.
Would you happen to know what the big beige building next to the floating mountains in the forefront left side of the picture is? Will that hold the water ride or is it a backstage area?Photo Update

Film and TV
Early reviews for Disney's live-action adaptation The Jungle Book are in! With 12 reviews counted so far, the film has a 100% fresh rate at Rotten Tomatoes. I've heard some really positive reactions to this film. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_jungle_book_2016/
The Jungle Book hits theaters on April 15th.
Also important to note is that Walt Disney Animation Studios' 55th film, Zootopia, has reached 800 million dollars at the international box office today, making it the second most successful film in the studios' history just behind Frozen.

I don't think that's been made official yet. However since BoG only lets you out a short while before rope-drop anyway, my guess is that either:
1) it'll be just like CRT where (if I understand correctly) you can't leave until rope-drop.
2) nothing will change, because you'll be held in the regular standby lines waiting while the EMM people use the FP lines.
From Disney's POV, #1 makes the most sense, as it discourages the $10 no-shows, and those who order the smallest cheapest item for breakfast. I'm sure they're aware that pre-park BoG will take something of a hit, but they're making up the losses there from the EMM tickets, and those people who do choose a pre-park BoG breakfast are likely to be higher spenders.
I'm thinking option #2 though, as BoG might get kind of messy if forced to act as a holding pen.
Aside: Honestly, for me, if option #1 were the case, I'd still consider doing BoG as it gets pretty much all the advantages of rope-drop, without the aggro of actually dealing with rope-drop (plus the quiet time to take some empty park photos). Disney are probably banking on people like me to make up the numbers.
I'm excited about this. I've loved the animated version since I was a little girl and from the trailer I gather they made a great job with the live action version. The boy that plays Mowgli is adorable!

I read that but I'm not in agreement. Yes Disney is a business yes cuts are normal but not like this. You also don't normally have a 5+ billion dollar resort opening behind schedule and way over cost. Those costs have to be made up somewhere.
