News on the Poly DVC Expansion

Hopefully, this addition is done tastefully and preserves the natural beauty of the original resort. Depending on the outcome, I could really be tempted to buy into this location.

I have stayed at overwater bungalows a couple of times and the neat part is the window in the floor to see the sealife below in the crystal clear water...not seeing how that is going to work in the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Love seeing all this expansion!

The seven seas lagoon was a swamp surrounded by a fertilizer "farm" until Disney started reclamation, dredging, and construction of the artificial lake in 1965...

So the term "natural beauty" may not apply. It's more like landscape architecture.

I said Natural Beauty "of the original resort". Had I said "Natural beauty of 1965 pre-Seven Seas Lagoon area", your statement would be pertinent.

I remember seeing a design or it could have been a 3d model at some point showing the buildings over the lake. It blended in pretty well with the rest of the resort. We haven't "bitten the bullet" as they say and ventured into DVC yet, but this may put us there.

That would depend on your definition of "natural"

Can anything built with heavy equipment and using artificial waterways and transplanted fauna be considered natural?

I know... It's no big deal and we're sparing...but this argument could spin indefinitely
