News on PUSH?

I tried to do a search here for any info on PUSH's departure but am having trouble navigating on the PC. I heard a couple of months ago that he is gone for good. Has there been any news since then?

We were there in Feb and didn't see him.

I saw PUSH in MK in February, however the news that he was being retired did state IIRC that it was for good.

The contract with the company that owned PUSH expired and Disney didn't have any interest to renew as they continue to go in house for new in the park extras. It is a shame though, it was one of the magic little touches that has been there forever that I believe will make any Disney nerd sad to not see scooting around any longer.

Dinsey blew it on this one. Rather than getting rid of him, they should have upgraded him with RFID scanners and hidden HD cameras. They could make a fortune selling pictures in silly poses and/or reactions from things that PUSH did.
