Sources from other sites have been reporting that the new show will be called Goofy's Country Character Jamboree, and will have it's grand opening on July 1, with a soft opening the week before. Don't know much more, other than rumor has it that much of the seating on the floor has been removed to make way for guests to interact with the characters during the show. It has been said that this is a show, and not just a meet and greet. It will be interesting to see what is offered.

Thanks !!

happy to hear that the "country" flavor will be alive and kickin' in this show.
My DS downloaded the Country Bears Jamboree's entire show onto a CD and we enjoy listening to it. I'm all for more shows with character interaction !!

The food service in there was terrible anyway-not the quality, but the service. You placed your order and paid at the entrance end of the bar but the menu board wasn't visible unless you're right at the register and you look to the right of the CM. So instead of knowing what you want before it's your turn to order, you tie up the line while you put your families order together. It was so poorly organized it wasn't worth the fight.

When we were there in December they weren't serving real food, just snacks (chip and ice cream). Which was a bummer since I had planned lunch there to kill two birds with one stone.

the characters in the show are Goofy, Chip, Dale, Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye

I was optimistic about this, I was hoping that it would be similar to the Woody's Roundup show that they had in Disneyland, but I am not as optimistic about the quality now.

No can-can?
No Wally Bouge-esque (excuse spelling) slapstick?
No table service (I know...this hasn't been around for years)?

Wasn't the original Golden Horseshoe show one of his favorites? I like character meet and greets, but do we have to cartoonize every inch of the park?
