We're seriously debating a short trip in November (DS is really hoping that Jack Skellington will be dressed as Sandy Claws)...and considering the HNY this time.
We've stayed at the Newport before, and thought it was nice enough....and have stayed at Sequoia twice (most recently last week, so we want to try something different). And using the deal on the Irish site, either will include half board.
I'm torn between paying a bit less and going with the Newport (week of Nov. 19-22, 2 adults/1 11 yo) for 923 but then my guys sure do love bacon and sausages...so HNY calls their names with its hot breakfast at only 1008 for a standard room, or 1157 for a Plaza room...which from my understanding the only benefit to that is a lake view? Is there more a plaza room offers than the view?
Thoughts? Benefits of staying at one over the other? Any input from those who have stayed at both, particularly during the holidays? Does one have more impressive Christmas decos than the other? We're big into meeting characters, most at the Newport were nautical themed...and the HNY?
TIA!
