Newport Bay pool?

I'm thinking of either DCR or NPB in July, based on the fact they both have good pool complexes. We very much enjoyed the pool in DCR last year, would we have an equally good time with NPB's pool? I would love some thoughts on either pool, and also from anyone who's stayed in NPB as this, and HNY, are the only ones we haven't stayed at yet....

I see in the FAQ's that NPB is described as having the best pool complex on Disney property - I wonder if the author had been to DCR??

Also, would you recommend Admiral Club floor?

We stayed in the NPB Admiral Floor last time. The pool is OK, but I would not say that it is grate. I have also bean to the DCR, but only looked at the pool. It did look better throw. It is worth staying on the Admiral floor, as it only cost me an extra £20, and with all the extras that you get it is worth it. next trip we are staying at the DCR and hoping to use the pool.

I'd highly recommend Admiral's Floor and the NPB - we loved it there. Can't help with the pool though I'm afraid, we never managed to get there, too busy in the parks.

And my 2 girls find the pool ok, at New Port Bay....

Sorry for not answering - don't get much time on the computer! Thanks for your responses - fatdave, we found the pool at DCR great fun, I think you'll enjoy, the whirlpool bit is really good!

jill-we never used to manage pool time, but find that in high summer, with long park hours and a dynamo DS, we are better off staying away for the crowded afternoon and returning later on for fireworks & parade & shorter queues. That's why we have really used the pools on the last couple of summer visits.

I notice you all like Admiral's Floor. What exactly do you get? It's not a club level floor is it??
