We were thinking of staying at Indian Ridge next year but I understand that the villas there are between 12 and 15 years old, are there any newer villas this close to Disney - We have always stayed at Indian Point and although we love the area are travelling next year with my parents and would like to be a little closer to the parks than Indian Point.

Formosa Gardens, Windsor Palms, Emerald Island, Indian Creek, Oak Island Cove and Acadia Estates are all in the same area, very close to WDW, and all newer than Indian Ridge.

Make sure the road that is going in at the back of some of these communities does not affect where you decide to stay too much .Some of the homes will back onto it and you may find your self looking at 30ft support pillars .

As far as the age of the homes go -if the owner has taken an interest in it and not simly allowed an agency to rent it out for them then there is unlikely to be any problem with an older home -in fact the rate that the new ones get put up could lead you to think they have been thrown together also a lot of the older homes tend to be more spacious and on bigger lots.JMHO
