"An environmental implication of endangerment, is the ecosystem. Species depends on other species to stay alive. If that one specie goes extinct, it could cause other species to go extinct. The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service has estimated that "losing one plant specie can trigger the loss of up to 30 other insect, plant and higher animal species."
What are the ethics of endangerment? If we were to do nothing to save a specie from extinction, what would happen? Maybe if we didn't intervene with trying to save them, they might just grow back into large numbers by themselves."
