I'm so excited, we closed on our DVC today. Now I get to start planning our first trip to BLT. I can't wait. Our 11 month window starts next week. We have a family of 5, but the little one be 2 when we go next year. Do you think we should plan on staying in a studio, or 1 BR? I'm thinking the 1 BR so the adults can get away from the kids.

I would recommend the 1BR if you have the points and can do it. It is sooo nice to be able to "get away". We stayed last year in a 1BR at BWV, and now do not think I could do a studio, you will get spoiled.

Congrats!!!!!!

I have a family of 5 and can't imagine staying in a studio and our kids are young 6, 3 and 2. If you have the pts do the 1br, you have a full kitchen and the extra room is nice. We bought DVC to have "condos" at disney with more room and a full kitchen at a price that would be similar if we got hotel rooms. With DVC we have a nice laid back relaxing time while still being at disney and YES the accomidations play a big part in that equation.

Enjoy and do the studio when it is just you and your hubby.

Congratulations! ~ and definitely book the 1BR! You'll love the space, kitchen and in-room laundry. I'm ashamed to say, being able to do laundry is one of my favorite things about DVC ! With young children who get dirty - it's great

We always go for the 2 bedroom personally because we have three children under the age of 5...........give us a chance for laundry and mom and dad dinners (carry-out) after the kids go to bed.

Congratulations and Home. If you do a 1 bedroom you will never go back, but the room well worth every extra point. To be able to put the kids to bed and stay up . Also since you can do you don't have that waiting for you when you get home.
