Has anyone bought any of the latest Disney Store costumes? They are on sale right now and I am unsure on what size to order for my daughters.

I usually size up to get more wear out of the dresses however these ones are going to be for our trip at the end of April so I am wondering about the length.

The pictures make them look like they are shorter as just below the knees compared to floor length. So I am just wondering if anyone has any experience with them in particular the Rapunzel, Snow white and Aurora Dress.

My youngest who is almost got the size 4 Belle and Anna dresses from JCP at Christmas and they are much too long to wear at the parks but I am worried that the 2/3 might be too small.

My oldest is almost six and is going into size 6 clothes so just wondering if the dresses are running true to size. I am worried about getting a 7/8 as she might be swimming in for length as she is a short at 44 inches tall.

Unfortunately my nearest Disney is 2+ hours away so I can't take them to try them on. Any help will be greatly appreciated as these are going in their Easter baskets when we reveal that we are going to Disney.

Thanks!
Ashley

The new dresses are shorter, but due to new style. The dresses are true to size, but based on size. For instance, some dresses are 2/4, so if you wear a size 2 there's room to grow. But if size 3, prefect with some room to grow. If size 4 & growing, then maybe/ maybe not room to grow, but it will fit. I hope this makes since.

Lastly, dresses IMO are not comfortable for all day in parks. Material is itchy, & hot during warmer months. Pack change of clothes. Undershirt/cami under dress is perfect, but probably not in summer.

Thanks! I think I will just order the size they should be in then and just live with the fact that they may not be able to wear them for a year like they normally do :)

We definitely put clothes on under the dresses as my oldest is known for only wearing for a short time. We are going at the end of April/early May so a shirt underneath shouldn't be too bad.

She is doing BBB this trip for the first time so she needs a new dress. The younger one needs one to make her not feel left out that she can't do BBB yet as she will not be 3 yet.
