Newest Disney Patent Hints at New Astro Orbiter

I believe this could bring a whole new experience to the astro orbiter moving a different way. I hope this is true because I would go on it for sure. It's already a great ride and this would make it ten times better.

Not sure how I'd feel about this. On one hand, it would be nice to have an updated ride, and the Astro Orbiter isn't any different than Dumbo, or Alladin's Flying Carpets, or TriceraTop Spin.

But on the other hand, I think it is such a great, classic ride, taking the elevator up, then riding around high up in the sky at a nice pace and having great views of the MK, especially the castle, and especially at night.

Now I'm not totally sure about how this would work out, but I hope it doesn't make the ride too 'busy'; as in too many things happening to really enjoy the ride and the views.

I get that people want more more more, new new new, faster faster faster, but I think the Astro Orbiter helps define Tomorrowland and riding it with my son/daughter is such a great experience.
