newer spoodles menu is underwhelming...any ideas for a switch?

I just looked at the menus for the restaurants I booked at the end of February, and noticed the Spoodles menu has changed significantly from last July. In fact, I didn't see one thing my DD's (both "adults" at 12 and 15) would be interested in. Any ideas of a place to switch near the MGM/Epcot area? We are staying at YC, and aren't "hopping" this time so we want to stay in the MGM area, since that's where we'll be that day.

When we were at the Boardwalk I checked out the menu for Spoodles in the window, went in and asked if this was the entire menu, which it was. I agree it is underwelming.

I agree. We had an ADR for Spoodles and canceled it because of the change. We decided to try WPC at DTD instead.

I'd recommend giving Big River Grille on the Boardwalk a try; you don't even need an ADR for it. They have a nice menu, and it's a quiet change of pace from the usually hectic Disney restaurants.

It's all purely a matter of personal opinion. If you're a "meat & potatoes" person, Spoodles is not for you. If you are into trying new things, then go for it and enjoy yourself, there's great food, wine and sangria.

Though the menu there has almost doubled in size since last summer. At one point last summer there were 5 appetizers and 5 entree's. Talk about limited then.

But the place is packed every night.
Just beware of the 180 day rule, most restaurants change their menu's 3-4 times a year. The websites that show menu's are not run by Disney.

For what it's worth, you can't make ADRs for Big River Grille. It's walk-ups only. I tried to make a reservation for it last week and that's what I was told.

If you or your kids are into sports, I'd suggest the ESPN club on the Boardwalk. It is regular pub food like wings, burgers, nachos, etc., but we've never had a bad meal here. My hubby and kids love all the sports stuff, and watching a game on that huge wall of screens is awesome! DD-11 can't get over the fact there are even TVs in the bathrooms...!! :teeth:

BTW....no ADRs accepted here.
