Newcomer Ressie question?

I just closed on my new DVC membership last week for BCV and my first allocation of points is in October of 2003 (160 points). Am I allowed to make a 230 point reservation for June 25-28, 2004 at my 11-month window? I realize that I will have to borrow 70 points from my 2004 use year. Just want to know if this is allowed? Thanks for the help!

Hi sparty, and welcome to the DIS Boards. Yes, you are correct. You can book that trip as long as you borrow from your Oct '04 points. Oh, and.....

I'm pretty sure you can borrow as long as you closed.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.
