Newby Ticket Question

This is our first year as DVC owners. We are trying to order our tickets for our June trip and because we have only ever ordered "packages" from Disney before, I want to make sure this is right.

Before I pay, it gives me the option of "will call" or sent to us. Will these be loaded to our magic bands and linked to our hotel reservations (split stay at BLT and GFV) or will we have to manually do this when we get down there? The system treats our stay as two separate stays and does not seem to give me the "magic band" option of covering both stays at once (separate in the system to order magic bands/tickets it appears). Anyone have some advice here?

If you buy the tickets through your MDE account, it will automatically be linked. I believe you have to assign the tickets to people on your family/friends list. At least that was the case with buying APs. If this MDE is also where you've linked your resort stays, the MB should work for both doors and park entrances.

If you buy an AP, you will have to stop at GR to pick up the AP and activate it. If you buy day tickets, you should be able to use your MB.

Split stays - you'll always get options for another set of MB. All the MB linked to the same MDE will work. Get different colors or decorate some of them.
