Newby cruiser question about docs...

After you have made your final payment, do you receive any addtional information from DCL about the cruise, i.e., excursions, that gives any more information than is posted on their web site?

Is this information different than the cruise "docs" that are received as little as two weeks before departure?

Can someone explain to this newby what information is included in each mailing, if there are two mailings?

Sorry if this is obvious, but I have searched the boards quickly and don't see the answer to my question. Thanks!

You should receive 2 mailings--one will have a brochure with Shore Excursion information in it, and the 2nd will be your cruise documents.

These will arrive separately (the excursion brochure will be by regular mail and the Docs will be by courier.)

SueEllen, thank you - does the Shore Excursion booklet provide additional information or more specific information on the excursions over and above what is on the website, or what one can find in the Passporter or on these boards?

Moinab -- I have to stop and look everytime I see the picture of your daughter napping. From this picture, her coloring and hair and shape of head so remind me of my DD-17 when she was that age - such sweet and precious memories!!

The excursion booklet was sent to me as soon as I sent in my deposit. It seemed to be the same info that is on the Disney site but is nice to have. (some more great planning reading)
I am sure if you contact your TA you could get it sent out to you now rather than have to wait.
