I suppose there are instructions somewhere about how to get started and how to earn your ears, but it would be very beneficial for it to be easier to find. Thanks.

Terms and rules are on the bottom of most pages (not sure if that's true on a phone, but it is on a laptop). The link text is small so it's easy to miss.

The big rule is you need to have 10 posts outside of the DVC forum (I don't know why) and be active for at least 24 hours in order to PM another user.
