Okay, I've been fighting this whole idea of pin collecting because I was a collector of stuff for years. Precious Moments, Cherished Teddies, Disney Classics Collection and so on. But I love the idea of the boys (6 and 4) being able to strike up conversations with people and trade pins (ME TOO!) So, first things first. We are going to WDW in December so time to plan. Where do you recommend getting lanyards. I saw you can get starter ones at Disney, but I'd love to get them ahead of time and start their collections. Gotta have a dopey for me. Something dealing with choo choo trains for Sean. Baseball for Ryan. Where should I begin? I thought I read somewhere that you can sometimes buy bags of pins for very little $$ and then just trade the ones that are duplicates or you don't want. Do people only trade Disney pins or do they want other ones also, like a Texas pin?
