Hi Everyone!

My Fiance are planning on spending 6 days at Disney in November for the first week of our honeymoon. we are planning on 4 day passes (likely with park hopper) so we can do a day at each park (and maybe skip around in the evenings). I know this will be a faster pace as we arrive on Sunday and then leave on Friday.

Do I need to look into parade schedules and everything before we go? Or is there some handy schedule that the hotel will have on hand so we can plan when we get there? (we are staying at a disney resort - just not sure which one yet)

I am pretty type A and would have everything organized, but my fiance is very laid back and will want to decide when we get there so I know he would love having disney provided pamplets there lol.

I'm so thankful to have found this board! Thanks in advance for your help

You sound like us. My wife is the penultimate planner. Yes, at the reception desk whereever you check in, assuming it's on site, there will be brochures for each of the parks with the general information and then another supplemental schedule sheet for that week showing what's going on and when. You can also check here because sometimes the parades and such are schedules well in advance.

Welcome!!! There are times guides that you can pick up when you enter the parks, I can't remember if they have them for sure at the resorts but I think they do...Anyway, grab a times guide and you will see when the parades and shows are, character meet and greets and any other events that may be going on that day.. Have a magical trip!!

Welcome, and congratulations on your upcoming wedding.

Just a question-- why not have a park pass for each day you're there? We even get one for arrival and departure days (we arrive early, and get a late flight out.)

Once you get past the 3 or 4 day range, the additional price per day is pretty small. And it will enable you to go to Epcot for dinner that first night, or to revisit your favorite attractions on departure day, for example.

Also, if you keep an eye here: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/hours.htm#hm-parkhours-quicklink
you'll eventually find the information you're looking for.

Have a great trip and, again, congratulations!

Thanks Everyone!!!

Aliceacc - we did just decide to get a 5 day pass lol our travel agent talked us into it :) I guess I really wasnt thinking it through regarding meals on site even if we do want a "down" day. Thanks for that tip!

You can really do it either way. There is a glut of info here and at the resort desk. IO agree with Previous poster take advantage of extra days. Epcot is my favorite park at night and there are plenty of really nice restaurants there. Many around the WS World showcase are very nice and can be romantic. Let the Hostess know of your special occasion.
