I have finally talked DH into taking the girls to WDW for the 1st time but have a question. Has anyone ever been during labor day weekend? Is it really crowded? Would you go during then or a week or 2 later? Just trying to keep kids from missing so much school. But we can't take vacation until after school starts back due to DH's job. Thanks

labor day is the least crowded of the holidays, cause everyone is worried about the same thing, back to school. the actual weekend, can be congested... but the Tuesday after the holiday you could run screaming through the parks swinging a dead cat and have a hard time hitting anyone.

I have run screaming through the parks swinging a dead cat, and security frowns on it.

if your kids are young enough to start school a week late, it is a perfect time of year to go.

Well my kids actually start school Aug 10th so they will have already been in school for a couple weeks before missing any days. We were actually thinking of going Sept.7-12 so they would only be missing 4 days total and we would be checking in on labor day and staying through out the rest of the week. My girls are in Kindergarten and 4th grade.

goto wdwinfo.com and search on them... or use google. there are a huge number of articles on both topics

One more question. Where can I find info on the BBB and MNSSHP? Thanks

Me and My DD went to BBB teh 1st week of May. We loved it. What kind of questions do you have maybe I can help?? I felt lost going into our experience but I was pleasently suprised at how awsome it was.

Well I was trying to find out what type packages they offer and the prices for BBB. I have 2 DD's ages 5 and 8 and they definitely want to do this.

We've gone twice over Labor Day back in the mid 90's. It really wasn't bad at all. The crowd levels were very good.

:welcome: to the DIS!
