Newbie with a question!

Hi everybody, been looking through the DIS boards for a while and have now finally registered. I have posted a message on the new members thread but for all of you who don't view it very often a BIG HELLO TO YOU and thanks for all the help you have provided me with through your threads

Cant get into VMK today at all but I take it everyone else is encountering the same problems?

Also, are we able to buy the slides and slide rooms or are they just guest rooms for now?

My VMK name is river-rock so hopefully I will see you about VMK soon

The slide pieces may or may not be for sale. Right now, none of us know, but we love reading tea leaves and make guesses. My bet is that the ups and downs won't be for sale, but all the other pieces will be. Again, we don't know.

Also don't know about the slide rooms, but I guess they will be for sale. Probably a lot of credits, like the baseball rooms.

Meanwhile, we wait until VMK comes back up!

actually while i'm here how to get the DIS bit on my signature - i've noticed some people on VMK with a blue DIS sign?

Hopefully they'll offer at least one of the rooms for sale, I wouldn't doubt if maybe one as a quest item or just for those visiting a water park like the animators desk.

Add Dis to your sig by clicking on the shirt on right side, where you can change the look/clothes of your character. On the bottom is a box to write what you want as your signature. Make it something unique about yourself, hopefully not about "taken" but that's up to you of course. If people ask about Dis some say to tell it means Disney. I don't know if it's really a problem to say Dis board in chat or not but I guess some do think so.

It's best not to identify yourself as DIS on VMK. See, technically, that provides a way for someone to put and two together and figure out how to find you. When we run into each other on VMK, we just say something like, "Hey I know you!". If you post a lot, then others will recognize you (if your VMK name and DIS name are similar). If your names aren't similar, post in the sticky what your VMK name is so someone can look you up.

But, remember, this is a public place, and you may not want people to be able to look you up, especially if you are a minor. if you are a minor, be sure to ask your parents!
