I was going to take water bottles into the park and hook them on my fanny pack, but the water bottles that I have seen don't have anywhere to hook them. What are you using? Thank you-leaving in 5 days-no where near ready!:scared1:

WE went to DICK'S and bought a few carabiners and hooked them under the top (where it attaches to the bottle) and hooked them that way. We also used a few thin carabiners to secure our luggage as they can be removed by the airline employees but keep the zippers secure.

I usually buy a water bottle lanyard from one of the Disney parks. They make great keepsake from your trip.

They can be bought at any of the carts selling soda/water etc. :thumbsup2

I use them everywhere. To secure the luggage tags, to secure toys to strollers and id tags to strollers, We use them for waterbottles and we even brought a big one to put through the bag handles and let the bags hand off the stroller, it helped keep them all together. I love the colors and the shapes they really come in handy and are inexpensive.

I have a belt-mounted insulated bottle carrier that I use for my water bottle. It keeps the bottle cool longer and keeps the condensation from getting all over the place.

You can find them in any sporting goods store.

For our last trip I purchased a Fanny Pack with built in
water holder mesh pockets on each side of the pouch.
It worked very well even if you don't bring a bottle with you
and you buy one at the park, it's a great place to hold it
and still have your hands free.:thumbsup2

Just a note. The water you bring into the park gets warm fast. I froze a bottle each night and brought that but again, once the water melted it got warm quick. Most places would give us a cup and ice though.

As another poster suggested, ask for a cup of ice water from any CS vendor. It's free, and ice cold! I stopped carrying a water bottle most of the time and just started asking for ice water. One less (heavy) thing to lug around!

I made water bottle carriers from ribbon and an "O" ring that way the kids can carry their own water bottle and we can refill it with ice water later. :thumbsup2 I saw it posted on the boards a while ago. It said that you could make it "no sew" with dungerie buttons but I sewed it. Very easy and quick.

That's what I use, but a freeze the water first. Also carry extra frozen water in a small insulated bag and put that to the bottom of my back pack. I know on really hot days I will go through that first bottle pretty quickly. As the ice melts in the bottle I add water into the bottle from water fountains also. Since there is still ice in the bottle it makes the water cold and just keep going like that until ice is gone. The insulator helps keep the ice from melting as quickly.
